“Our highest endeavor must be to develop free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives. The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility—these three forces are the very nerve of education.” ~ Rudolf Steiner

divisions on a twenty-four inch gauge.

There are twenty-four equal
parts and twenty-four hours in the day.

8 hrs devoted to spirit and a
distressed worthy friend
8 hrs for our usual vocations
8 hrs for refreshment and sleep”

used by masons to break off the corners of
rough stones,

for the noble and glorious purpose of divesting
our hearts and consciences of all the vices and superfluities of life;
thereby fitting our minds as living stones for that spiritual building….”
